This page explains how the iPhone and iPad app "Ikatama!" (App Store name: "Ikatama: Ocean Merge Puzzle", Japanese name: いかたま!) handles information. In this policy, "the app" means Ikatama!, and "we" or "us" means mino works, the developer and operator of the app, based in Japan.
The app stores the following on your device only: best scores for each stage, which stages you have played or cleared, whether the app has asked you for a review, whether you have bought "Remove Ads", and your answers to the consent messages (see section 4). This information is not sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this information.
The app is free to play because it shows ads from Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. It shows full-screen ads and video ads that you choose to watch, for example to retry a stage.
To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google AdMob may collect and use:
Google handles this information under its own policies. See Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to ask for and record your privacy choices for ads.
Your choice is stored on your device, and Google also receives it so that ads follow your choice.
When you open the app for the first time after installing it, the app shows the iPhone's "Allow tracking" prompt, with a short explanation of why the app asks.
You can change this at any time in the iPhone Settings app: Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
The app offers one optional, one-time purchase called "Remove Ads". You can play every stage without buying it.
Refunds follow Apple's rules.
We do not process your personal data on our own servers. For the ads in the app:
Google acts as an independent controller for the data it collects through AdMob. Google may transfer data to the United States and other countries using the safeguards described in its privacy policy.
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier use. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to access and delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
In the last 12 months, the categories of information collected through the app, all by Google AdMob for advertising, are: identifiers (IDFA if allowed, IP address), internet or other electronic activity (ad interactions) and device information. We do not sell personal information for money. We do not collect sensitive personal information.
The app is a general audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us.
We do not sell or give your information to third parties. As described in sections 3 and 4, Google AdMob may collect device information for ads.
The app does not use notifications, location, camera, microphone, photos or contacts.
Tapping "Privacy Policy" on the title screen opens this page in your web browser. After you clear a stage, the app may use the iPhone's standard feature to ask you to rate it on the App Store. We do not receive the content of your rating.
Operator: mino works (Japan). For questions about this policy or your privacy, please contact us through the "App Support" link on the app's App Store page.
We will update this page when the app's features change. For important changes, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
